Many common day objects can be hazardous. If you are in doubt, ask your check-in agent what is allowed on board and in your baggage.
Explosives. Fireworks, signal flares, firecrackers, sparklers, safety fuses or other explosives.
Flammable liquids or solids. Petrol, paint, paint thinner, turpentine, alcohols, adhesives, acetone, solvents, lighter fluid, fire-lighters, silicon powder, sodium or non-safety matches.
Household items, oxidizing substances, and organic peroxides. Drain cleaners, solvents, bleaches, fertilizers, peroxides, disinfectants or fibreglass repair kit.
Compressed gases. Spray cans, butane fuel, scuba tanks, propane tanks, camping gas cylinders, oxygen bottles, fire extinguishers or self-inflating rafts.
Weapons. Loaded firearms, stunning devices, ammunition, gunpowder, mace, tear gas or pepper spray. Can I travel with guns/fishing rods and such sporting equipment?
Dry ice, gasoline powered tools, camping equipment with fuel, wet cell batteries, oxidizers, corrosives, radioactive materials (including pharmaceuticals), poisons, infectious substances, chainsaws, life rafts or internal combustion engines.
Asbestos, arsenic, battery acid, mercury, sulfuric acid, bacteria, viruses, vaccines, cyanide, insecticides, weed killers, medical/clinical waste, radioactive nuclides or isotopes for medical or industrial purposes.
There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your baggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person.
